The Opera web browser tests the built-in cryptocurrency wallet in the private beta version of its browser for Android - say representatives of the company.
Wallet will first support Ethereum, with support for other coins that might come later. The owners of Ethereum using Opera, will potentially be able to more easily access their tokens.
This move comes a few months after the hype around the cryptocurrency has largely subsided and is another example of big companies trying to expand functions, depending on the cryptocurrency in order to attract users.
Previously, Mozilla has stated its awareness of bitcoin and the recent influx of scammers, typing software, limiting the possibility of mining in their web browsers.
